Lingxi at S+ Summit: unpacking NGO digital transformation on site
Lingxi joined HKCSS S+ Summit for a roundtable and Tech Clinic exchanges on data, legacy systems and fundraising digitalisation.
This year's HKCSS S+ Summit, themed "Navigating the Future - Tech for Good & Co-Creation", brought together a lively social welfare community. Thank you to every frontline colleague who visited the Lingxi booth and shared the operational efficiency challenges they are facing.
During the roundtable "From Insights to Impact", Lingxi co-founder Hou Zhengchun shared a central idea: the real meaning of digitalising social good is to use data to connect projects, funding and people. A system should not be a cold tool, but a bridge that turns goodwill into concrete action.
To hear directly from the frontline, the Lingxi team and both founders also joined the Tech Clinic for deeper technical exchanges with organisations. Three pain points came up repeatedly:
• Scattered data: contact records are spread across different Excel files or departments, making unified management difficult.
• Ageing systems: existing IT systems lack the functions needed for growing administrative demands.
• Fundraising pressure: organisations rely on stable support from Flag Day and monthly giving programmes, and need digital tools to simplify collection and follow-up.
In response, the team explained how Lingxi CRM connects membership, events and online fundraising workflows into practical solutions for NGO teams.
